Heavenly Homemade Hummus

Hummus, glorious hummus! I’m the guy who eats it to the bottom of the bowl. Every party that I host with a vegetable or snack tray is probably going to have this as a choice of dip.
However, I learned that not all hummus is created equal. Before I knew right from wrong, I used to go for Sabra, which is genetically modified and full of bad ingredients. Bleh!
I found out that it’s actually quite simple to make a batch of this , and that’s what I want to show you today.
One of the best parts of this recipe is that it only needs SIX ingredients!
  1. Garbanzo beans (a.k.a chickpeas)
  2. Turmeric
  3. Garlic
  4. Salt
  5. Olive oil
  6. Lemon juice
SCORE! šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€
This will be your new go-to dip for when you don’t want to take forever to  whip something up. All you need is three minutes of your time to make something that could last you the week.
Another thing about this recipe is that it doesn’t require tahini. I’ll tell you something, I have seen TONS of recipes for hummus that all say you need tahini. But not this one, it’s just as good without it!
I think it’s time we make some hummus! What do you say?
