Granola Baked Apples
I had this feeling to bake something up that would be sweet and healthy. There is no greater thing to have as a sweet treat than fruit itself. But instead of just reaching out for an apple, I decided I should try to come up with something different. That’s where these apples came to play!
Only a few ingredients go into this wonderful treat. It’s like eating an apple pie without the guilt!
Ingredients
- 1 c granola
- 2 apples, cut in half and cored
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
- 2 tbsp. honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉
- Place your apples on an 8x8 or 9x13 baking pan
- In a bowl, combine the granola and coconut oil
- Scoop about 1/4 of the mixture on top of your apple halves
- Drizzle the honey evenly on to your filled apples
- Bake until tender when pierced, this is about 20-30 minutes
